Give Back to the Troops with the Warrior Princess Collection {A Get Fresh Review}

**Product received for review.

As a military wife, when I see a company that is making an effort to show support to the troops and their families, I am filled with a sense of gratitude. So, when I was contacted by a representative for Get Fresh about their Warrior Princess collection, I was beyond thrilled...a great body care line that was not only free of parabens, dyes and sulfates that also gave back to the military!? Yes, please! Here is a little about this fun collection:
Warrior Princess is a collection of wonderfully smelling, botanically based bath & body products that have a luscious profusion of Blackberry and Vanilla, spiked with a zesty hint of lemon, bergamot and peach. Warrior Princess products are dedicated to helping the men and women in the United States Military who have sustained physical and/or psychological wounds while protecting our freedoms every day. Warrior Princess products are Paraben-free and contain no synthetic dyes and no sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates.
By purchasing these high-quality Spa products, you are joining with thousands of people across this country who, like you, would love to show their gratitude to our Wounded Warriors. We at get fresh are working towards helping these outstanding men and women by donating 10% of all sales (over 30% of profits)of Warrior Princess products to Veterans organizations like Healing4Heroes, a wonderful charity that helps our Wounded Warriors in their healing process.

When the Warrior Princess collection arrived, the first thing I noticed was the adorable packaging. I know, I know...that really should make no difference at all, but honestly, I still love cute packaging! Necessary? No, but a fun bonus for sure! The colors were nice and bright and I loved the little heart charm! The next thing I noticed was the smell...it was wonderful!! It wasn't overwhelmingly strong, but definitely noticeable. I could not wait to try it all out.

I was most excited to try out the Foot Kit. This bitterly cold winter has left my feet looking absolutely terrible and they desperately needed some help!! Now, I cannot say that the foot kit took care of my problem completely, but I could certainly see a big difference- they were less dry, softer and just generally looked better. Perhaps if I used it every day, it might be even better, but either way I was impressed!!

Next up was the sugar scrub. I must admit, I'm a huge fan of sugar scrubs so I was pretty excited to try this as well. It is the same scrub included in the foot scrub, and can really be used all over. What I loved about this particular scrub was that it was creamier than most sugar scrubs I'd used in the past...enough texture that I could tell I was getting a good scrub, but not too rough either.

And finally both the body and hand cremes went on smoothly- no greasiness! The scent again was subtle, but still there. Personally, I prefer more subtle scents so this was perfect for me. I will admit, I'm always a little hesitant to use scented lotions on myself because of my daughter. She has very sensitive skin and is always in my arms so I try to be cautious! Thankfully, I have seen no reactions from this, even after picking her up immediately after my shower.

I have not yet had a chance to use the bath soaks, but I'm certain they will be just as wonderful too.

Overall, I was really impressed with the quality of the products and could see myself buying again, even if they did not support a good cause. The fact that they benefit veterans as well makes them that much better. If you are looking for a high quality bath care line that is both good for you and does good for others, Warrior Princess is a fantastic choice.
